The internet went crazy recently when Alia Bhatt and Kareena Kapoor Khan worked together for an advertisement. After that, everyone only wanted them to work on a movie. We cannot deny, though, that should they ever get together, the pair has the potential to light up the screen.
For the uninitiated, Alia and Kareena co-starred in Udta Punjab, although their on-screen time together was minimal. The film also starred Shahid Kapoor and Diljit Dosanjh in the lead roles. When Kareena was asked whether Alia's career trajectory resembled her own in an interview with Mid-Day, the Jaane Jaan actress described the Gangubai Kathiawadi actor as 'gifted.'
Kareena stated, that she thinks Alia is truly gifted. “She is such a spectacular actor and her choices are also…like she does these commercial big ones and then she will do a Darlings. So, she likes to do this, which is great,” she said.
She added that among the younger generation, Alia does the best acting. When asked if they both could possibly star in a movie, Kareena Kapoor responded, “When I met her recently, I told her we should definitely do something together because let's see how that energy kind of bounces off.”
She also discussed how after seeing pictures of the two of them circulating online and raising speculation that a movie about them might be in the works, fans started texting director Karan Johar.

On the professional front, Kareena Kapoor Khan was recently seen in her OTT debut film Jaane Jaan, directed by Sujoy Ghosh. The film also starred Jaideep Ahlawat and Vijay Varma in the lead roles and was released on Netflix. The actress has Hansal Mehta's The Buckingham Murders. She is also said to be seen in Rohit Shetty's Singham 3, which also stars Ajay Devgn, Deepika Padukone, and Ranveer Singh.
