Bigg Boss 18 winner Karan Veer Mehra made headlines on the show ahead of the grand finale over a promised gesture for Chum Darang. He was supposed to officially propose to her once the finale is over. Karan picked up the trophy but went back on his word - he did not propose to Chum, both confirmed to media. Here's what happened...
Karan Veer Mehra goes back on his word, no official proposal to Chum Darang
The media was eager to find out if Karan Veer Mehra actually went down on his knees for Chum Darang like he promised inside the Bigg Boss 18 house. "Salman sir asked me what I want. I want Chum Darang," he said while promising an official proposal at the grand finale (4 days from that day). However, Chum confirmed to BollywoodLife that there was no official proposal from Karan's side, at least yet.
Karan Veer Mehra's response
In reply, Karan Veer told media that he doesn't exactly need an official proposal because everybody knows his feelings for Chum Darang, since he made it very clear. While stating so, he also hinted that Chum's past has been stopping her from accepting him. "Woh puraane panne palatna bandh kar de," he was quoted saying.

Will ChumVeer be an official couple after Bigg Boss 18?
Among Avinash Mishra-Eisha Singh and Karan Veer Mehra-Chum Darang, the viewers had been rooting for ChumVeer because they have been very clear about liking one another. Avinash-Eisha, on the other hand, kept stressing that they are just friends. But the recent revelation has sure left ChumVeer fans also disappointed and wondering if Chum and Karan will actually end up together. We guess we'll know soon enough.
