Today, Amazon Prime Video revealed its upcoming movies and shows for 2024 at a big event. As it was said before, season 2 of Dhootha, starring Chay Akkineni, was announced today. The event also featured announcements for new seasons of popular shows like Mirzapur (season 3), Panchayat (season 3), The Family Man (season 3), Bandish Bandits (season 2), and Pataal Lok (season 2). Prime Video further announced new web shows like Call Me Bae, Gulkanda Tales, Citadel India, and Janta Band. However, the main focus was on Dhootha 2 and the third seasons of popular shows like Mirzapur and The Family Man.

Today, a fresh slate of films and series have been announced by Amazon Prime Video. Karan Johar was present during the announcement session. During the session, Karan was randomly asked about what beauty means to him. The eminent filmmaker took a jibe at people undergoing cosmetic surgeries. “There are lots of people who have done jobs on their faces. I am not the one,” he said.
Throwback to the time when Karan Johar said he had a Botox done
In 2016, Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar openly admitted to using Botox for facial improvements. He disclosed that cosmetic surgery is a common practice in Bollywood, despite being kept under wraps. In a promotional video for the fifth season of his talk show, Koffee with Karan, Johar openly discussed undergoing cosmetic enhancements.
“It’s me, my face. I am botoxed, I put collagen up there, I have adjusted my nose, I have done what everyone does in my industry, so that is one of the things,” Karan had said as per a report available in Hindustan Times.
After 2016, Karan took a seven-year-long break from his professional work. His last directorial was Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani which was released in 2023.
Notably, famous Bollywood divas including Anushka Sharma and Priyanka Chopra Jonas have undergone nose surgery in the past to look more beautiful.
