Karan Johar pens down a sweet birthday wish for ‘Rocky’ Ranveer Singh, calls him ‘magnanimous force of nature’

Bollywood superstar Ranveer Singh has turned 38 today! From featuring in titular roles in over 30 movies to being a recipient of numerous prestigious accolades including five Filmfare awards, the actor has come a long way. Next, he will be headlining a romantic drama titled Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani.

This upcoming romantic drama is directed by ace filmmaker Karan Johar. Ahead of the release of the film, Karan Johar dropped a sweet birthday wish for his ‘Rocky’ Ranveer Singh. On Instagram, it read, “It’s ROCKY day!!!! Happiest birthday to this magnanimous force of nature…thank you for giving all your heart to our kahaani…Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. Lots of love to you always @ranveersingh”

In the post, the filmmaker even attached a bunch of unseen photos from the sets of Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. Both of them looked cheerful and happy in each other’s company. This Instagram post has been liked by over 30,000 Instagram users in the first hour of the post’s release.

In one of the pictures attached in the post, Ranveer can be seen tightly hugging Karan Johar and superstar Alia Bhatt capturing the moment.

Featuring Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh in titular roles, Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani is an upcoming romantic comedy family drama film directed by Karan Johar and written by Ishita Moitra, Shashank Khaitan, and Sumit Roy.

This movie is slated to be released theatrically on July 28. Meanwhile, the movie's makers have dropped the movie's first song, Tum Kya Mile. This song is sung beautifully by popular singers Arijit Singh and Shreya Ghoshal.

The movie will also feature stars namely Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan, and Shabana Azmi in supporting roles.
