Karan Johar is one of the most popular filmmakers in Bollywood. Recently, the 51-year-old filmmaker made a dashing entry at the Red Sea International Film Festival in Saudi Arabia to promote the film ‘Kill’ on a global level. At the event, he received a special honour for his contribution to the world of cinema. Amidst such developments, the Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani director recently confessed that he desires to work with filmmaker SS Rajamouli for a film again.

Speaking to the Deadline on the outskirts of the Red Sea International Film Festival in Saudi Arabia last evening, Karan Johar was asked whether there is any filmmaker he desires to work with in the future. He responded, “I have worked with SS Rajamouli for the film ‘RRR’. I would love to work with him again. I think he is a bonafide genius.”
Later, he was asked what he would have liked to pursue had he not been in the film business. Karan said, “I would have been a very sad, lonely man.” Clearly, there is no denying that Karan Johar loves what he does.

Speaking to Firstpost about the casting of the film, Karan said, “There was an entire audition process that happened for six months because it’s a huge cast. The goons you see in the film are not just doing action, the second half of the film is their story and they had to emote a lot. This entire process took six months since there are about 40-43 people.”
