Be it in newspapers selling hair dyes, or on TV judging shows and even selling soups... this man is unstoppable and his talents are without boundaries. Even though every actor in Bollywood always nurtures the dream of working with Karan Johar and Dharma Productions, there are only a few actors with whom the film maker has worked with, by his own admission.
Karan Johar terms Ranveer Singh as a chameleon
Karan Johar is sitting pretty after the grand success of his film ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’, which starred Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt and also veteran actors like Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan and Shabana Azmi. Speaking of Ranveer Singh, in a recent interview with Pinkvilla, film maker Karan Johar termed him as a chameleon. In the interview, Ranveer Singh said, that working with Ranveer Singh (in ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’) was an amazing and exhilarating experience.
The effortless Ranveer Singh
While describing Ranveer Singh, Karan Johar said that, he was a juggernaut of talent and was like a chameleon who can swiftly and effortlessly transform from being Khilji to Murad to Rocky to Kapil Dev. Karan also revealed that, Deepika had told him that, every six months a new person walks into the house, because he (Ranveer Singh) becomes that character.
Karan Johar reveals an important trait of Ranveer Singh
Recalling his conversation with Ranveer Singh during the filming of ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’, Karan Johar revealed that, he (Ranveer) would talk like Rocky throughout his conversations with him. There were times when Karan felt that, he was talking to Rocky Randhawa and not Ranveer Singh. Karan Johar added that, Ranveer was phenomenal and that he never left that character.
Karan Johar's next with Salman Khan
In the same interview, when Karan Johar was asked about his dream of wanting to make an actioner, the film maker revealed that, when he announces something, he will surely work on it, without divulging any further details, about the film. He also expressed his wish to carry forward the legacy of the ‘dulhania’ series in Dharma Productions. Readers may recall that, in an earlier episode of Aap Ki Adalat, Salman Khan had revealed that his next will be with Karan Johar. The said film is reportedly being directed by Vishnu Vardhan. It will have Salman Khan playing the role of a no-nonsense army officer. Besides this, Karan Johar will now be seen in the next season of 'Koffee With Karan'.
