Kapata Nataka Sutradhari OTT release date: When and where to watch the film starring Vijay Shankar, Sampath Kumar

Telugu OTT platform aha is championing itself as a go-to-avenue for most small/medium Telugu films lately. After streaming several films like Darja, Uniki, Nenu Meeku Baaga Kavalsinavaadini in recent weeks, aha has set its eyes on another film featuring upcoming actors. Their next release is Kapata Nataka Sutradhari, a suspense thriller starring Vijay Shankar, Sampath Kumar and Chandulal in lead roles. The film is directed by Kranti Saina and produced by Manish under Friends Adda banner.

Kapata Nataka Sutradhari will premiere on the platform on October 21, commemorating Diwali. The streamer unveiled the trailer of the film earlier this week. In the glimpse, we notice how a group of criminals run away with all the gold deposited in Srama Bank. One of the customers points out that his share of gold in the bank is worth Rs 99 crore. The cop is understandably irritated about the development and looks committed to catch the gang behind this incident.

The trailer also takes us through the criminals who don facepaint in a bid to escape the sight of the cops and hints at a tragedy that pushed them to be on the wrong side of the law. Ravi Prakash and Bhanu Chander also make an appearance. Subhash Donthi has cranked the camera for the film. Chhota K Prasad is the editor of the thriller which has music by Ram Tava. Going by the promos, the film appears to be a poor man's version of Dhoom. It'll be interesting to see if the film grabs eyeballs despite the absence of many familiar actors.
