Rishab Shetty's Kantara has seen off yet another Saturday on a high. The film is now officially available across the country in four different languages including the Kannada original and each version, as it turns out, has yielded great results at the box office. With the help of the new dubbed releases, Kantara grossed over Rs. 15 crores on October 15 (Day 16) to make this the best day in the film's theatrical run so far.

According to the latest reports, the Rishab Shetty film is now in cruise-control mode and is well past the Rs. 100 crore mark at the global box office. Thanks to the superb third Saturday and the unanimous positive reception the film is receiving across regions, Kantara is reaching newer heights with each passing day - reportedly, the Day 15 net collections amount to over Rs. 13 crores with the Kannada version contributing close to Rs. 8.25 crores, Kantara Hindi, Telugu, and Tamil chipping in with Rs. 2.5 crores, Rs. 2 crores, and Rs. 0.30 crores respectively.

Kantara (Hindi) released in cinema halls on October 14 to great reception in regions like Mumbai, NCR, Pune, and a few other south Indian centers such as Bengaluru, Chennai and Hyderabad. The makers released the Telugu and Tamil versions of the film on October 15 and both Chennai and Bengaluru are currently featuring shows of all four versions of Kantara. Kantara will release in Malayalam on October 20.

Over the past week or two, Kantara has been on a steady rise as far as the box office collections are concerned and has even surpassed KGF 2 in the second-week collections in Karnataka. It is also the highest-rated Indian film on IMDb and has been attracting high praise not just from audiences across the world but also from the superstars of various industries with actors like Prabhas, Dhanush, Prithviraj Sukumaran, etc. lauding the efforts of the entire team.

Coming back to the box office, Kantara is likely to have yet another highly successful Sunday at the box office, and with the audiences slowly warming up to all the dubbed releases across India, the makers will maintain a keen eye on the collections. Produced by Hombale Films, Kantara has been written and directed by Rishab Shetty who also stars as the main lead in the film. The principal cast also includes Sapthami Gowda, Kishore, Achyuth Kumar, and many others with Arvind S. Kashyap handling the cinematography and B. Ajaneesh Loknath serving as the music composer.
