Kannappa first-look poster - The makers of Vishnu Manchu’s upcoming mythological magnum opus, Kannappa, chose the auspicious occasion of Mahashivratri to release the first-look poster of the actor in the film. The poster features the actor in a majestic pose, standing near a waterfall that looks like the Shivlinga, as he wields a bow and arrow. Although you can't see the actor's face in the poster, since his back is turned to the camera, Vishnu's look has stunned fans, who have been raving about his transformation. It's just the treat that Telugu film buffs were waiting for on Mahashivratri.

While few fans have called the actor’s new look "the next big thing in India", others predict that the film might become the biggest turning point in Vishnu Manchu’s career. Many lauded the film’s extravagant poster and are hoping to witness a cinematic masterpiece through the lens of director Mukesh Kumar Singh.

Kannappa shoot update

The makers of Kannappa had shared some BTS (behind-the-scenes) footage of the cast and crew as they geared up for a massive shoot schedule in New Zealand. The video featured director Mukesh Kumar Singh and Vishnu Manchu, along with other crew members, taking a stroll on location in New Zealand, discussing the shooting plans. According to reports, the film is currently in the production stages and is expected to be released in theatres later this year.

Mohan Babu, Mohanlal, Shivarajkumar, and Prabhas in Kannappa?

According to some reports, Kannappa has a star-studded cast that includes Mohan Babu, Mohanlal, Shivarajkumar, and Prabhas. According to the grapevine, Prabhas plays Shiva and Kangana Ranaut plays Parvati in the film. The makers have already announced that Tamil star Sarath Kumar has been roped in to play an important role in the film. 

Interestingly, Kannappa will not only be a pan-Indian film released in several Indian languages but will also be released in English.
