It’s literally raining Kannada films this February. While the first half of the month was to be for Darling Krishna’s Love Mocktail 2, the second half would have been all about Kiccha Sudeep’s fantasy action drama, Vikrant Rona. But with no word on 100% occupancy in theatres and the prevailing Covid situation in the country, director Anup Bhandari’s pan-India film was pushed ahead, paving the way for a host of Kannada films to take its spot instead. With the major other language releases, which are the biggest competition for Kannada films, also slated for March and April theatrical outings, as many as six films will release here in the next three weeks. We wouldn’t be surprised if more join in. Here’s the list of Kannada films that we know are definitely headed to theatres soon.
