PremiumKanguva star Suriya rubbishes rumours of shifting base to Mumbai, says 'I am very much in Chennai'
The actor revealed that his children were studying in Mumbai and he goes to meet them

It looks like namma Suriya hasn't shifted base to Mumbai after all as reports claimed. The actor clarified on the same during a recent fan meet in which he spoke about a number of his upcoming projects. He rubbished the rumours of him moving to Mumbai and added that he was very much in Chennai. "My children are studying in Mumbai and I often go to meet them. Aana naan engayum pogala," he said much to the delight of his fans.
He also spoke about his upcoming film, Kanguva, and said that the film was coming out 100 times better than they had thought before the commencement of the shoot. Kanguva is directed by Siva and is one of the most awaited projects of the year. A glimpse from the period portion of the film was recently released, in which Suriya was seen as Kanguva, the mighty son of fire and spirit, who rises from the fire to protect his people. The glimpse has set the expectations skyrocketing.

Suriya also opened up on his other pending projects, which includes Vaadi Vaasal and Suriya 43. While he stated his project with Sudha Kongara ( Suriya 43) will begin in October, once he wraps his portions in Kanguva, he added that he begin work on Vaadi Vaasal once Vetri Maaran wraps up shoot for the sequel to Viduthalai. The test shoot for the film was done a couple of years ago and Suriya has even got two bulls to get into the skin of the character.
However, the biggest surprise came when he told his fans that a standalone film on his popular character Rolex is likely to happen soon. It seems Lokesh Kanagaraj had narrated a script to him and that he was quite impressed by the same. Irumbu Kai Mayavi, which has been one of Lokesh Kanagaraj's dream project will commence after the Rolex spin-off. This sure looks like one packed year for the Kanguva star.
