Cricketing legend Sachin Tendulkar, who was one among the celebrities that lost their Blue tick on Twitter today, conducted an "Ask Me Anything" session for the fans. A fan of Suriya had then asked the ace cricketer about his recent meeting with Kanguva star Suriya. Sachin replied stating that though they both were quite shy at the outset, they had a great chat with each other. He wrote, "We both were very shy initially and didn't want to disturb each other but ended up having a good chat. #MutualAdmiration @Suriya_offl (sic)."
Suriya responded to the ace cricketer and said that he was looking forward to more such meetings. He also wished Sachin's son, Arjun Tendulkar, a great innings during the current IPL season. He wrote, "Likewise Sir and look forward to more such meetings. Hearty wishes for Arjun! May he have a rocking innings in this IPL season and a glorious cricketing career..!!! (sic)."
Suriya also responded to cricketer Suresh Raina, who had wished him the very best for his upcoming film Kanguva. Suriya today thanked the former Chennai Super Kings cricketer and said that his wishes meant a lot to him.
On the film front, the actor is currently busy shooting for the pan-India project Kanguva, helmed by Siruthai Siva. The film will be released in ten languages and made in 3D. Suriya is said to be playing a mighty warrior in the film and the title video had given a short glimpse of his character. In the video, Suriya's character is seen riding a horse. The video also gives a sneak peek of an eagle flying atop a battlefield and a dog barking. The title announcement video had set the internet on fire.
Kanguva marks Disha Patani's debut in Tamil. Music for the film is by Devi Sri Prasad, who had earlier scored music for Suriya's Singam. While audio rights of the film have been acquired by Sa Re Ga Ma, the digital rights have been bagged by Amazon Prime Video.
