Kanguva second single to be out soon; Suriya to share the screen with Disha Patani?

Kanguva, the Suriya starrer directed by Siva, has been making headlines lately with the reports on changes in its release date. According to the latest updates, the period fantasy film has been pushed to a new release date, as the makers are not ready for a box office clash with Vettaiyan, the upcoming Rajinikanth starrer. However, the makers are proceeding with the promotions of the film, and are planning to release the much-awaited Kanguva second single, very soon.

Kanguva second single to be released soon?

If the reports are to be believed, the makers of the Suriya starrer are now planning to reveal the second single from the film, very soon. According to the latest updates, the Kanguva second single is touted to be a romantic number, which features the National Award-winning actor along with the leading lady, Disha Patani. The upcoming song might also finally reveal the Bollywood actress’ first look from the upcoming Siva directorial. The song is composed by famous musician, Devi Sri Prasad.

Disha Patani's role in Kanguva

Earlier, it was confirmed that Disha Patani is indeed playing the female lead in Kanguva after the actress was spotted with Suriya and the crew at the location. However, the makers of the film have not announced the Bollywood actress’ involvement with the project officially, yet. Notably, Disha Patani was absent in the recently released Kanguva trailer, which went viral on social media. This has left the audiences curious about the actress’ role in the Siva directorial.

As reported earlier, the makers of Kanguva are reportedly planning to push the release of the film to October 31, 2024. The new updates started doing rounds after the Vettaiyan team announced that the Rajinikanth starrer is hitting the theatres on October 10, 2024, the same day as Kanguva. The new update, however, has not gone well with the Suriya fans and Tamil cinema lovers, who are now criticizing the makers, for the long delay in the film’s release.
