Kanguva: Makers spill the beans on the much-hyped period portions in the big-budget Suriya-starrer

The glimpse of Kanguva which was unveiled on Suriya's birthday a couple of days ago left most of the cinephiles impressed. The movie directed by Siva will be released in multiple languages in early 2024. The first look poster was a stunner, leaving the star's fans thrilled.

G Dhananjayan, who's associated with the project's production, revealed that there is a huge demand from the distributors of north India who are eager to present the film in several territories after watching the movie's promo video. He also said that the movie will be released in many other languages, too, apart from the ones which were decided earlier.

According to him, Suriya's popularity among audiences in other states is one of the reasons behind the same. The senior producer also said that the much-awaited period portions in Kanguva will be one of the highlights of the project. "The entire story isn't set against the period portions. There is a story that is set in the contemporary era as well," he said.

Devi Sri Prasad's music is expected to be the prime attraction of the movie which will have Suriya playing a king with grey shades. He is seen sporting a never-before-seen look in the film which is touted as the biggest outing in his career.

The pre-release business of Kanguva will be the highest for the star, added Dhananjayan. He refers to the movie as a pan world project which boasts of a universal subject.

The glimpse video was released in six languages. The makers had initially announced that the film will be released in 10 languages across the world.
