Kanguva, the period fantasy film which stars Suriya in the lead role, is one of the highly anticipated projects of Tamil cinema in 2024. The movie marks the National Award-winning actor’s first collaboration with hitmaker Siva. As reported earlier, Kanguva is gearing up for a grand theatrical release on November 14, 2024. Ahead of the release, the makers are reportedly planning to hold a grand audio launch for the Suriya starrer in Chennai soon.
If the recent updates are to be believed, the highly anticipated Kanguva audio launch event has been slated to be held in Chennai, on October 20, 2024. The rumourmills suggest that the Sri Sairam Engineering College Indoor Stadium has been finalised as the venue of the event. Along with the cast and crew members and the common audiences, a few selected guests are also expected to attend the event. Suriya, director Siva, and the team are expected to make an official announcement on the same, very soon.
The long-awaited Kanguva second single was originally supposed to be released in August 2024. But the makers postponed the song release, after the film’s theatrical release was pushed to November 2024. According to the latest updates, the Kanguva second single is touted to be a romantic number, which features Suriya, along with the leading lady, Disha Patani. A major update on the second single release date is expected to be out in a few days.

Even though Disha Patani is confirmed to be playing the female lead opposite Suriya, the actress was not present in both the Kanguva teaser and trailer, that were released recently. Bobby Deo, Natarajan Subramaniam, Yogi Babu, Jagapati Babu, Redin Kingsley, Kovai Sarala, Vatsan Chakravarthy, Anandaraj, Suresh Chandra Menon, Deepa Venkat, G Marimuthu, KS Ravikumar, and others esay the other key roles. Devi Sri Prasad composes the song and original score for the film.
