Kangana Ranaut talks about Chandramukhi 2, working with Prabhas, Ram Charan and missing a film with Mahesh Babu

Chandramukhi, the P Vasu directorial was a classic in Indian cinema. The film featured Rajinikanth, Prabhu, and Jyothika in lead roles and is remembered to date for its performances and storytelling. Well, almost a decade later, Chandramukhi 2 is ready and is up for a release on September 28, 2023. 

The film stars Raghava Lawrence and Kangana Ranaut in lead roles and Oscar-winner, MM Keeravani composed the music. The team of Chandramukhi 2 was in Hyderabad yesterday and attended the pre-release event of the film that was held on a massive scale. 

Speaking about Telugu films, Kangana revealed that she was offered Mahesh Babu's Pokiri first. But she could not do the film as she was also offered Gangster at the same time and she chose to do that film. Kangana says that she regrets not doing that film and would love to do a film with Mahesh Babu film very soon.

Kangana also added that she wants to act with Ram Charan in a Rajamouli film where she can showcase her talent. The award-winning actress says that some of the finest work is coming out from Telugu cinema and it is a perfect time to be working in the south. 

Kangana has a massive task to reach the expectations that have been laid on her as she will be reprising a similar role that was done beautifully by Jyothika. The controversial actress was also asked about her fearless tweets and how she could get away with such strong posts. 

Not holding back, Kangana says that everyone should voice their opinions and Telugu actors are very safe and do not comment on any political issues which is bad and one should speak freely as India is a democratic country. 

Lastly, Kanagana says that she is expecting a Telugu director to approach her with a Telugu biggie. Well, let's see whether Kangana's wish is fulfilled or not. As of now, Kangana is also shooting for her Hindi film Emergency.
