Kanchan Mullick and Sreemoyee Chattoraj welcome their first child

Kanchan Mullick and Sreemoyee Chattoraj, who tied the knot in February this year, welcome their first child. The actor took to his social media and shared the news with his followers.  

In his post, Kanchan wrote, “Hi, on this auspicious occasion, we would like to share the best news of our life. We are now a family of three. Please bless our baby girl, Krishvi.” The post is undersigned by Mr and Mrs Mullick.  

Later, Kanchan told Hindustan Times Bangla that Sreemoyee and the baby both were doing fine. Earlier, there were speculations of Sreemoyee being pregnant. The actor denied the claim. “In fact, I asked Sreemoyee to keep it a secret. But the news got leaked. Now we are very happy,” he told the media. “I am feeling like a low-budget Shah Rukh Khan,” he quipped. It is SRK’s birthday on November 2. He further said that Sreemoyee was, in fact, unwell for a while and they got better.  

Kanchan was beside Sreemoyee during the OT. “We have Kali Puja at our house. The next day Lakshmi came to our home,” he said.  

Kanchan was recently seen in Parambrata Chatterjee's Nikosh Chhaya in which he plays the character of an evil occult master. His performance was widely appreciated by the audience and critics alike. The show is now streaming on Hoichoi. Besides, he also plays a character in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3.
