Kanchan Mullick and Sreemoyee Chattaraj tie the knot

It has been reported that Kanchan Mullick and Pinky Banerjee’s had their divorce finalised. The court gave the verdict on January 10. According to reports, Kanchan and Sreemoyee Chattaraj tied the knot on February 14. On February 18, photos of their registry wedding got viral on social media. In the photos, the bride and groom look happy in maroon wedding attire.

Earlier, it was speculated that they would be married on March 6. This is Sreemoyee’s first marriage and Kanchan’s third. Kanchan got first married to actress Anindita Das. After their legal separation, Kanchan married Pinky. They have a son together whose custody will be with his mother.

Sources stated that Sreemoyee has started shopping and selected her makeup artist. There have been allegations and counter-allegations in Kanchan and Pinky's marriage. Kanchan alleged that they stayed for only twenty days together in a married life of nine years. Pinky stayed apart because she could not cope with Kanchan's family.

For the last two years, Kanchan and Sreemoyee have been together at night parties or Durga Puja. Sreemoyee addresses Kanchan as 'Dada' publicly. A few months back, Sreemoyee told Anandabazar Online 'We have been friends for ten or twelve years. He knows me from my younger days. The friendship would not be so deep, but I saw Kanchanda and how he became lonely after his mother died. Kanchanda is introverted and doesn't want to bring his private life to the public. I saw the person who made everyone smile crying in his room. He said he had nothing despite having everything.'

After the divorce is finalized, there is no legal obstacle to the marriage of Kanchan and Sreemoyee. hence they wanted to marry at the earliest.
