Shankar, who has been busy with Kamal Haasan's Indian 2 and Ram Charan's Game Changer, is keeping movie buffs excited by coming up with updates from both projects at regular intervals. The shooting of the former is almost complete with only a few portions left while the latter has around 80 days of production pending.

Some of the stills of Kamal Haasan from Indian 2 which were unveiled a while ago left his fans thrilled and they are eagerly waiting for an announcement on its release. The team shot a few crucial portions in South Africa, Thailand, and Taiwan some time ago.

The Ulaganayagan has now surprised his fans with an update on the movie. Quite impressed with some of the important scenes in the film, he congratulated Shankar on his Twitter page and said that he wants the director to achieve more heights. The icing on the cake is a picture that he has shared along with the tweet.

It has the veteran actor-filmmaker gifting a watch to the maverick filmmaker. The latter is seen as humbled in the photo, and fans can't keep calm. They say that this tweet from Kamal has really elevated expectations on the movie.

The big-budget project will have a huge release in multiple languages in 2024. This will be Kamal's first release after the blockbuster Vikram. His fans are eager to know which project among the few will he choose next. Mani Ratnam, Mahesh Narayanan and H Vinoth are some of the directors who are ready to join hands with him.

Indian 2, being produced by Red Giant Movies and Lyca Productions, features a bevy of talented actors. Anirudh's music is expected to be one of the highlights of the project.
