The shooting of Thug Life, the upcoming Mani Ratnam directorial which features a stellar star cast including Kamal Haasan, Silambarasan, is now progressing at Aerocity, Delhi.

Kamal Haasan is reuniting with veteran filmmaker Mani Ratnam after a long gap of 36 years, for the upcoming project Thug Life. The movie, which is touted to be an action drama, has been garnering the attention of cine-goers with its massive star cast. The shooting Thug Life has been progressing in New Delhi for the last couple of weeks. Recently, a location picture from the sets of the Mani Ratnam directorial, featuring Kamal Haasan, Silambarasan, and others was dropped online.
After a long wait, Kamal Haasan’s look from Mani Ratnam’s ambitious action drama was revealed in a recent location picture published by a leading daily. The legendary actor has finally bid goodbye to his salt n’ pepper hairdo and is seen sporting a jet-black hairdo along with a thick beard. He is seen in a white outfit in the new still. Along with the Vikram actor, the Thug Life location picture also features the rest of the cast members, including Silambarasan, Abhirami, Nassar, and Vaiyapuri.
Silambarasan, who has reportedly replaced Dulquer Salmaan to play a pivotal role in the Mani Ratnam directorial, is seen in a stylish look in the new location still. The Maanadu actor is seen sporting a long hairdo, which he teamed up with light stubble, a pair of statement sunglasses, and a casual blue checkered shirt. The location still also suggests that Abhirami might be playing Kamal Haasan’s wife in the film.
Meanwhile, some unconfirmed reports suggest that director Mani Ratnam and his team are planning to drop the new promo video of Thug Life, very soon. The much-awaited new update from the project is expected to officially reveal the final cast members of the film. In that case, the team might officially announce who is replacing Jayam Ravi, the popular actor who has exited the Kamal Haasan-starrer due to his busy schedule. However, there is no official confirmation on the same, yet.
