Actor Jayam Ravi is upbeat about sharing the screen space with Tamil superstar Kamal Haasan in Thug Life, which was formerly known as KH234. He expressed his disbelief about this massive opportunity, which will mark his reunion with director Mani Ratnam after the Ponniyin Selvan series.
"From fan boy to co star… this feels surreal! Excited to start this journey with my Andavar @ikamalhaasan sir ! It’s always a pleasure coming back to the @MadrasTalkies_ family. Thank you for always believing in me #manisir," Jayam Ravi tweeted while confirming the news about bagging a key role in the movie.

Earlier reacting to the announcement, Trisha also expressed her gratitude for this opportunity to work with Kamal and Mani Ratnam again. "Blessed when dreams come true multiple timesThrilled to collaborate again with the legend powerhouses Mani sir & Kamal sir in #KH234. Thank you universe," she tweeted.
While Jayam Ravi played the titular role of Rajaraja Cholan, Trisha essayed the role of Princes in Kundavai in the epic Ponniyin Selvan movie series.
In the meantime, Dulquer Salmaan earlier collaborated with Mani Ratnam on the 2013 hit romantic drama OK Kanmani.
Thug Life is reuniting some of the brightest stars of the South Indian film industry. If you didn't know, it also marks the reunion of Kamal and Ratnam after a gap of 26 years. After delivering the classic Nayakan in 1987, the actor-director duo is coming together for an epic adventure set against the backdrop of a dystopian world.
Thug Life is also produced by Kamal Haasan in collaboration with Ratnam's Madras Talkies and Red Giant Movies.
