The title of actor and composer GV Prakash Kumar's 25th project is out. The film is titled Kingston and is billed as a horror film set in the sea. The title and the first-look poster was launched by Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan today at an event.

First look hints at a horror film
The first-look poster features a man on a boat which is sailing amid high tide. As a huge wave tries to plunge the boat, one also gets to see a bunch of dead bodies floating in the sea. Going by the poster, it looks like the film will revolve around the sea. Meanwhile the makers have billed this as India's first sea horror film.

Star cast and crew
The film will mark the reunion of the Bachelor actors GV Prakash Kumar and Divya Bharathi. The star cast also includes Antony, Chethan, Kumaravel to name a few. GV Prakash, who has doubled up as the film's producer, will also be composing music for the film. Gokul Benoy will be handling the cinematography.

Taking to his social media handle, "A dream voice from tamil cinema … it’s a team full of youngsters with only passion and love for cinema … here is my production’s first film #Kingston #GV25 Thanks a lot @ikamalhaasan sir …#kingston (sic)."

Kamal Prakash calls it India's first sea horror adventure


The film's director Kamal Prakash, too, wrote, "The day I was really star struck Thank you Ulaganyagan @ikamalhaasan for gracing the launch event and unveiling the first look of "Kingston", India's first sea horror adventure film @gvprakash @storyteller_kp @divyabarti2801 @gokulbenoy @dhilipaction (sic)."
He added, "Thanks to @ikamalhaasan sir for making the launch pooja of our film #Kingston very very special. Couldn’t have asked for a better way to kickstart this experimental film. His FIRST CLAP moment (sic)."
