Kamal Haasan, who recently watched Prithviraj Sukumaran and director Blessy’s ambitious film Aadujeevitham, showered praises on the survival drama in a recently released video.

Aadujeevitham, the Malayalam survival drama helmed by senior filmmaker Blessy, will hit the theatres on March 28, Thursday. The movie, which stars Prithviraj Sukumaran in the lead role, is gearing up for its release after a very long delay. Recently, the makers of Aadujeevitham held a special screening for the film in Chennai, attended by legends Kamal Haasan, Mani Ratnam, and a few others. After the preview show, the Thug Life actor praised Prithviraj and Blessy’s passion project, in a special video.
The legendary actor, who is highly impressed with Aadujeevitham, showered praises on director Blessy, Prithviraj Sukumaran, and the technical crew in the special video which is now going viral on social media. Kamal Haasan thanked Blessy for making this film and revealed that Mani Ratnam was wondering how he worked. The Vikram actor revealed that he even felt like drinking more water at the interval and that is the kind of impact the film made.
Interestingly, the legend, who is a brave filmmaker himself, stated that Blessy and the team’s thirst to make something different was so evident. Kamal Haasan showered praises on leading man Prithviraj Sukumaran. He particularly mentioned the shot where his character Najeeb finally takes a bath and added that he never thought Prithviraj would have gone this far for the role. The actor-filmmaker also appreciated the great work of cinematographer Sunil KS.
The multiple National Award winner added that as a filmmaker he understands how difficult it must have been for him to shoot such a film. Kamal Haasan further added that he wants the common audience to accept and love Aadujeevitham as much as he did and stated that it is simply an ‘excellent’ film. He concluded the video, by thanking the team and wishing them all the best.
The multi-faceted talent, who has played the most complex and challenging character of his career so far in Blessy’s film, is overwhelmed with Kamal Haasan’s words about their passion project. Prithviraj Sukumaran took to his official social media handles and shared the special video with a heartfelt note that reads: “I’d consider this as big an award as any for #Aadujeevitham #TheGoatLife. Thank you sir @ikamalhaasan Fanboy for life!”

As reported earlier, the Blessy directorial, which is based on Benyamin’s best-seller novel, is gearing up for a pan-Indian release in five languages including Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi. AR Rahman has composed songs and the original score for the film, which is produced by the banner Visual Romance.
