Kamal Haasan approached to play the antagonist's role in THIS most-anticipated pan Indian project?

Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan is busy with Shankar's Indian 2, the much-awaited sequel Kollywood is looking forward to. He is expected to join hands with the likes of Mahesh Narayanan, Mani Ratnam and Pa Ranjith among a few in the coming years.

Apart from these, Vikram 2 with Lokesh Kanagaraj is another project cinephiles have pinned high hopes on. Social media is now abuzz with news which is leaving fans of Kamal excited and curious. According to the grapevine, the veteran actor-filmmaker has been approached to essay the antagonist's role in a big budget project which many have high expectations on.

It is heard that team Project K approached him for the character and that he has been offered a huge sum. Nag Ashwin is at the helm of the ambitious sci-fi flick which features the likes of Amitabh Bachchan, Prabhas, Deepika Padukone and Disha Patani playing key roles in it.

The movie is slated for a huge release in January 2024 and fans have been awaiting updates from the makers. This unexpected news has come as a huge surprise for film buffs. But the question is will Kamal say yes to the offer? There is speculation that he has been offered a whopping fee of 150 crores.

Aswani Dutt is bankrolling the project under Vyjayanthi Movies and Santhosh Narayanan is composing music. Djordje Stojiljkovic and Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao are handling cinematography and editing respectively for the film which will be released in multiple languages.

The team is yet to reveal the appearance of lead actors from the movie. It marks the third theatrical release of Nag Ashwin after Yevade Subramanyam and Mahanati.
