Kamal Haasan announces Bigg Boss Tamil 6 on Disney+ Hotstar, evokes mixed reactions among fans

Fans of Kamal Haasan, who are on a roll for multiple reasons, got another surprise now, with the star himself announcing another project now. However, it's not about his forthcoming film, but his arrival with the next season of Bigg Boss Tamil.

In a short promo video unveiled by the makers, the Ulaganayagan is seen entering a forest and asking the viewers "Shall we begin the hunt?" Titled Bigg Boss Tamil 6, fans of the show are now curious about its participants. In fact, many have started speculating the celebrities who will appear as contestants in the show.

Having said that, not every fan of Kamal is happy with the announcement of the sixth season of the reality show. Many have expressed concern over the shooting of Indian 2 in which he is supposed to join now. The Shankar directorial has resumed production after a long time recently.

With Vikram turning out to be a huge blockbuster, and talks about Gautham Menon's Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu 2 doing the rounds, it looks like his appearance in Bigg Boss Tamil is the last thing they had anticipated. A few of them wondered how Kamal is going to complete all these projects if he is allotting time for the reality show.

Kamal's tryst with Bigg Boss Tamil began in 2017. Earlier this year, he also hosted Bigg Boss Ultimate, a long version of the reality show, in which viewers could access the content 24 x 7. However, he had to step out from the position of the host owing to his commitment to Vikram.

Later, Silambarasan joined the show as its host, and received appreciation for presenting Bigg Boss in his own style. Balaji Murugadoss emerged winner of Bigg Boss Ultimate while Niroop ended up as the runner-up.
