Kalyani Priyadarshan offers much-awaited updates on Fahadh Faasil, Dulquer Salmaan's next

Kalyani Priyadarshan is set for an exciting 2025 with a bunch of movies with the A-listers of Mollywood. The Hridayam actress has Odum Kuthira Chadum Kuthira with Fahadh Faasil, while she will be acting in a movie with Naslen that will be produced by Dulquer Salmaan. Now, Kalyani Priyadarshan has shared some much-awaited updates on the Fahadh Faasil-starrer and Dulquer Salmaan-produced film.

Kalyani Priyadarshan recently took to Instagram and shared updates about her upcoming films of 2025, including Odum Kuthira Chadum Kuthira with Fahadh Faasil and Dulquer Salmaan’s production that will see Premalu star Naslen in the lead.

Kalyani said that Wayfarer’s film is 73 days in, with 3 weeks left, while adding that the team even shot through midnight on New Year’s! Kalyani and Naslen K Gafoor will star in the lead roles in the film produced by DQ’s Wayfarer Films. What’s more exciting is that Dulquer Salmaan and Tovino Thomas will also be reportedly seen in cameo roles in the film.

The yet-to-be-titled film, directed by Dominic Arun, will see Chandu Salimkumar, Shanthy Balachandran and Arun Kurian in key roles. This film will mark the Thallumaala actress’ second collaboration with DQ in Malayalam, after Kalyani and Dulquer Salmaan starred in Varane Avashyamund, which was directed by Anoop Sathyan.

Meanwhile, the second Malayalam film that Kalyani has is Odum Kuthira Chadum Kuthira, which is directed by Althaf Salim with Fahadh Faasil in the lead. Althaf is best known for directing Njandukalude Nattil Oridavela which won a lot of audience love when it was released back in 2017. Althaf, who is also a noted actor with a penchant for comedy, has also penned Odum Kuthira Chadum Kuthira.

The film, backed by Ashiq Usman Productions, has an ensemble cast with notable names such as Revathi, Vinay Forrt, Dhyan Sreenivasan, Lal, Babu Antony, Johny Antony, Suresh Krishna, and Lakshmi Gopalaswamy, among several others.

Other than the two Malayalam releases, Kalyani also has the Tamil film Genie, which is in its final stage.  While stating that the VFX effects for the fantasy film are taking time, the actress said that the team is eying a summer 2025 release.
