Kalyaan Dhev’s Kinnerasani takes the direct-to-OTT route, will premiere on ZEE5 soon

After quite a long time, a mainstream Telugu film is set to take the direct-to-OTT route. We’re talking about Vijetha actor Kalyaan Dhev’s upcoming film Kinnerasani, directed by Ramana Teja. The film is bankrolled by Ram Prasad Talluri under SRT Entertainments. Kinnersani is all set to premiere on ZEE5 the coming weekend, on June 10.

Ann Sheetal, Ravindra Vijay, Kashish Khan, Mahathi Bikshu play important roles in the film too. The film is a mystery thriller whose plot revolves around Veda and the search for her father. Mahathi reportedly essays the titular character in the same while Ravindra Vijay is the antagonist. Kinnerasani is written by Sai Teja Desharaj Athreyasa.

Mahati Swara Sagar, who’s scoring the music for films like Krishna Vrinda Vihari and Macherla Niyojakavargam, has composed the score, which has lyrics by Kittu Vissapragada. Dinesh K Babu has cranked the camera for the film edited by Anwar Ali. Anbariv, the duo behind KGF, handles action choreography. Keerthi Vasan is the costume designer.

Kinnersani’s trailer was released a few months ago. Kalyan Dhev’s last release, Super Machi, that also starred Kannada star Rachita Ram, hit theatres for Sankranthi and sank without a trace. He had made his acting debut with Vijetha, in which Malvika Nair played his on-screen romantic interest.
