Kalki 2898 AD trailer - Runtime, what to expect, budget, OTT rights, and star cast details are here

All eyes are now on the trailer of Kalki 2898 AD, which will be released on June 10, 2024. The makers will host a special event in Mumbai, and the entire star cast will attend the preview. Well, we have learned that the trailer will be out at 7 PM tonight in Hindi and other southern languages.

Kalki 2898 AD trailer runtime, release date

The trailer's runtime has been locked at two minutes and thirty seconds. Kalki 2898 AD stars Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, and Kamal Haasan in lead roles. The action drama was produced on a massive budget of just over Rs 350 crore.

We have learned that the trailer will feature VFX shots of Prabhas as the superhero, and the highlight will be the glimpses of the other stars in the film. As per reports, Prabhas' ride, Bujji, a special car, will also be showcased in a superb manner in the promo. The grand visuals and the way Prabhas will be seen in a never-before-seen avatar with a lot of humor will be one of the highlights of the trailer.

Nag Ashwin directed this film, which took just over five years to make. Nag Ashwin says that Kalki is a completely new genre, has no references to go back to, and everything was made from scratch. Vyjayanthi Movies, one of the oldest production houses in the Telugu film industry, has produced this film, which will be out on June 27, 2024.

Brahmanandam to play a key role in Kalki 2898 AD

Not many know, but legendary comedian Brahmanandam will be seen in a hilarious role in this film, which has music by Santhosh Narayanan. This is the first time that the makers of any Indian film launched a full-fledged animated series on the film's characters Bujji and Bhairava, which is now streaming on Amazon Prime.

Most of the film has been shot at the prestigious Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad. Netflix has bagged the OTT rights of the film for a massive price. The advance bookings in the US have also begun, and Kalki is creating new records at the box office.

The makers are planning a massive pre-release event ahead of the film's release and plans for the same are also being made. Nag Ashwin made the award-winning Mahanati the last time, and we need to see what he has in store for us this time around.
