Kalki 2898 AD is all set to hit screens on June 27, 2024. The censor screening of the film happened in Hyderabad yesterday, June 18, 2024. Generally, only a few officials of the censor board watch Telugu films and give the makers a rating. But the screening of Kalki 2898 AD was attended by a massive team of censor officials, who were curious to see what Nag Ashwin had created this time.

We have now come to know that once the screening was done, the entire group of censor officials gave the team a standing ovation. One of the sources close to the team says that the censor officials were spellbound by the crazy visuals of the film. "Everyone was in awe of the breathtaking visuals designed by the director, Nag Ashwin," says the source.

Multiple star-studded cameos will be a highlight of Kalki 2898 AD

The source also adds that what is shown in the trailer is just a glimpse, and the actual film has a lot more surprises in store for the audience. Vijay Deverakonda, Rana Daggubati, Dulquer Salmaan, and several other stars have done cameos in this film.

Yet another aspect that is going to be the highlight of Kalki is the role of Prabhas. Though he will be seen as the mighty Bhairava, his humorous touch will make the character loved by all, and all is the news. Kalki 2898 AD is just over two hours and forty minutes long and has music by Santhosh Narayanan.

The BGM, amazing star cast, and the way Nag Ashwin has taken things to another level with his vision will take Indian cinema a step ahead, said the censor officials. Vyjayanthi Movies has produced the film on a massive budget of Rs 350 crore, the highest for any Indian film to date.
