Kalki 2898 AD worldwide box office collection day 9 - Nag Ashwin has delivered the biggest blockbuster of the year so far. Starring Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, and Kamal Haasan in the lead roles, Kalki 2898 AD has been unstoppable at the box office since day one. The film has set and shattered box office records in domestic as well as international markets. After 9 days of its theatrical release, the Nag Ashwin directorial has achieved a new benchmark at the global box office.

Vyjayanthi Movies, the production company of Kalki 2898 AD, shared an official update about the film's worldwide BO figures. As per the makers, the sci-fi epic earned a whopping Rs 800 crore+ (gross) at the ticket window across the globe. While sharing this update on social media, the makers mentioned, "𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐁𝐎𝐗 𝐎𝐅𝐅𝐈𝐂𝐄 𝐎𝐍 𝐅𝐈𝐑𝐄 (sic)."

On the other hand, the film's domestic collection is inching closer to the Rs 500 crore mark. So far, Kalki 2898 AD minted Rs 431.75 crore at the BO. That said, the Prabhas and Deepika-starrer still has full potential to perform exceedingly well.

Amid the blockbuster success of Kalki 2898 AD, director Nag Ashwin shared an update about the second installment of this massive film. The filmmaker quashed the rumour of Kalki 2898 AD part 2's shoot being completed by 60%.

In an interview with Pinkvilla, the director revealed only some portions of his sci-fi epic's second installment has been shot. "We shot about 25-30 days of the second part but there’s a lot left to do. There’s still so much prep left to do in terms of just again designing and action," he told the entertainment portal.

Nag Ashwin added the journey to prep for Kalki 2898 AD's second part is long and there's time to get the actors back on set for the movie.
