Malayalam actress Anna Ben is receiving praise for her power-packed performance in the latest epic sci-fi movie, Kalki 2898 AD, which hit the big screen on June 27. The young star, who plays Rebel Kaira, spoke about her experience working in this project during an interview with Manorama Online.
Anna stated that her main goal was to perform better while staying within her limitations, so she did not choose to use a stunt double. “Regarding how to strengthen the action sequences' credibility, I exercised caution. It would be difficult to accept if I struck someone twice my size," she remarked. The Kappela star continued by saying that while the Telugu audience might find it fascinating, Malayalis would not because they are very direct with their opinions.
She continued by saying that the action sequences had been expertly choreographed by the stunt masters based on her body language, which had a great effect on the audience.

Anna stated that she feels fortunate to have had the chance to appear on screen alongside major celebrities in Kalki 2898 AD. "Being a huge fan of Shobana ma'am, a combination scene with her was an amazing moment for me," she said. The actress clarified, though, that the movie did not include that specific scene.
She also expressed her admiration for Pasupathy and Deepika Padukone, describing them as modest performers who didn't come across as scary on set. She explained, "Since most of the other actors had time constraints, my focus was on finishing my part well."
Anna mentioned that she used to get tired at first because the costumes were heavy. She remarked, "It really helped me get into the character." The young actress went on to say that during stunt shoots, it also served as a shield of protection. She added that she was advised to take a short break after suffering a leg injury in the second schedule.
