Kalki 2898 AD, the most awaited futuristic science fiction film directed by Nag Ashwin, is gearing up for its grand theatrical release on June 27, 2024. The movie features Prabhas and Deepika Padukone in the lead roles, and legendary actors Amitabh Bachchan and Kamal Haasan in pivotal roles. The highly anticipated second single of Kalki 2898 AD, which has been titled ‘Theme Of Kalki’ is set to get launched at a grand event in Mathura soon.
Theme Of Kalki to be launched in Mathura
Recently, the makers of Kalki 2898 AD, Vyjayanthi Movies took to their official social media handles and confirmed that the second single ‘Theme of Kalki’ will be officially launched soon. “Unveiling the Theme Of Kalki at Lord Krishna’s birthplace, Mathura in Uttar Pradesh. The song will be out Tomorrow,” reads the social media post of the production banner. However, the makers of Prabhas and Deepika Padukone’s film have not revealed any other details of the second single, so far.
The Kalki 2898 AD second single is expected to be released on social media tomorrow (Monday, June 24, 2024) at 11 AM. An official confirmation on the same is expected to be out, very soon. The ‘Theme of Kalki’ song, which is composed by popular musician Santhosh Narayanan, is expected to feature Prabhas and Deepika, along with the rest of the star cast. The grand launch event, which will be held in Mathura, will be attended by the cast and crew members of the film.
Kalki 2898 AD – Cast and Characters
Prabhas appears in the role of Bhairava, a selfish, powerful man in Nag Ashwin's ambitious film. Deepika Padukone plays Sum-80, the mother who is carrying the unborn divine baby, as per the prophecy. Amitabh Bachchan plays the iconic Mahabharat character, Immortal Ashwatthama in the film, while Kamal Haasan reportedly appears in the role of the lead antagonist, Supreme Yaskin. Disha Patani is making an extended cameo appearance in the film as Bhairava’s girlfriend, Roxy. Shobana, Saswata Chatterjee, Pasupathy, Anna Ben, and others play supporting roles in the film.
