The film recently premiered in Japan and received a warm response from audiences. However, there has been some criticism that Prabhas wasn’t showcased to his full potential in the first part. Nag Ashwin has promised that in the sequel, Prabhas will step into "beast mode" and face off against iconic actors like Amitabh Bachchan.

Additionally, rumors suggest that the sequel will feature new faces, but the makers have kept this aspect under wraps for now. Nag Ashwin, known as one of the top directors in Indian cinema, is also known for taking significant time to complete his films. Hence, the general perception is that the sequel to Kalki 2898 AD might face delays.

It will be interesting to see what the makers have in store in the coming days. Stay tuned for more updates on this mega project that will be released in IMAX as well.
