The day is finally here! Kalki 2898 AD, which has been in the making for years now, has finally hit theatres on Thursday. Starring Prabhas in the lead role, the film boasts a star ensemble, including Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Shobana, Pasupathy and others.

Kalki 2898 AD draws inspiration from the Hindu epic Mahabharat and sets its premise in the futuristic dystopian era. Apart from them, the film also stars Disha Patani, Anna Ben, and others. Kalki 2898 AD is said to have a sequel, with the first part ending on a cliff-hanger note.
