Kalki 2898 AD - Remuneration of stars in the film
Half of the budget has gone into the remunerations of the stars, and most of the other part has gone to the VFX of the film. This is the costliest film to date in Indian cinema and has a very unique concept. Prabhas will be seen in the role of a superhero, and he has charged Rs 100 crore as his fee.
Next in line is Kamal Haasan, who has charged a whopping Rs 50 crore for his cameo in the film. Deepika Padukone, who plays the female lead, has been paid Rs 10 crore, and the same has been given to Amitabh Bachchan.
