Kalki 2898 AD, the epic sci-fi film which stars Prabhas in the lead role, has already crossed the Rs. 500 crore mark at the box office. The Nag Ashwin directorial, which has been released in five languages across the globe, is performing extremely well in other states as well. As per the recent updates, Kalki 2898 AD has already crossed the Rs. 15-crore mark at the Kerala box office and surpassed the lifetime collections of Allu Arjun starrer, Pushpa: The Rise.
As per the recent updates, Kalki 2898 AD has made over Rs. 2.5 crore on its first Monday at the Kerala box office. Thus, the total collection of the Prabhas starrer in the state has now crossed the Rs. 15 crore mark. The latest reports suggest that the Nag Ashwin directorial surpassed the lifetime collections of Pushpa: The Rise, the 2021-released blockbuster movie, which stars Allu Arjun in the lead role. For the uninitiated, the Sukumar directorial made over Rs. 14 crore from the Kerala box office, within its lifetime run.

In that case, it is now also safe to assume that Kalki 2898 AD has already emerged as the fifth all-time highest Telugu film in Kerala, beating Allu Arjun starrer Pushpa: The Rise. Baahubali 2: The Conclusion, RRR, Salaar, and Baahubali: The Beginning, are currently in the first four spots of the Top 5 highest-grossing Telugu films list at the Kerala box office. However, the Prabhas-Nag Ashwin film will beat Baahubali: The Beginning with today’s collection (Day 6 at the theatres). The movie is expected to collect over Rs. 16.5 crore from Kerala, by the end of the day.
In that case, Kalki 2898 AD might surpass the lifetime collections of Salaar, the Prabhas-Prithviraj Sukumaran starrer which hit the theatres in December 2023, in another day. The Nag Ashwin directorial is also expected to beat RRR, the SS Rajamouli directorial which featured Ram Charan and Jr NTR in the lead roles, within its lifetime run in Kerala.
