Saqib Saleem is all set for an exciting journey with his upcoming film Kakuda. Also starring Sonakshi Sinha and Riteish Deshmukh, the film is a horror-comedy and is all set for an OTT release. Penned by Chirag Garg and Avinash Dwivedi, the film is directed by Aditya Sarpotdar. After releasing the spooky yet hilarious trailer, the makers continue to keep the buzz around the film by releasing posters and promos.
Kakuda New Poster
Today, the makers of the film unveiled a new poster ft Saqib Saleem. In the hilarious poster, Saqib is seen sitting beside a photo frame of him with a garland on it. The caption of the post read - "Ngl, love life ne bhi permanently ghost kar diya hai! #AbMardKhatreMeinHai #Kakuda premiering on 12th July, only on #ZEE5"

Earlier, speaking about his decision of joining the project, Saqib Saleem was quoted as saying, "The producers sent me the script and I think I read it in a day, and the next day I wanted to meet Aditya Sarpotdar the director because it was a damn funny film. The decision to do the film was literally that quick."
More about Kakuda
The narrative of Kakuda revolves around a small village that is cursed by a ghost called Kakuda. When Sunny (Saqib) gets cursed by Kakuda, his fiancé Indira (Sonakshi Sinha) hires a ghost hunter Victor (Riteish Deshmukh) to help them. The trailer promises that the film will be a spooky yet hilarious roller coaster ride with multiple punch lines.
Directed by Munjya fame director, Aditya Sarpotdar, the film is slated to release on July 12, 2024. Apart from Sonakshi, Saqib, and Riteish, the film also features Panchayat fame, Aasif Khan. The film is produced by Ronnie Screwvala.
