Kajol, who portrays Noyonika in the upcoming web series, The Trial: Pyaar, Kaanoon, Dhokha, recently discussed the most difficult decisions she has had to make.

During an interaction with Mid Day, the actor went into detail about the most difficult decisions she has had to make, saying that a number of events in her life have required her to make challenging judgments. Because she was on the fence about whether or not she wanted to work in film, getting married when her career was at its peak was a turning point. Kajol recalls her dad warning her to give it some serious thought because, as she was getting painted on the face, it would never come off. Putting it on is a permanent decision. That's not true, she told herself; she can remove it whenever she chooses. Obviously, the passage of time has proven her dad's point.

Kajol has been "facing one of the toughest trials" of her life, as she put it in a recent Instagram post. The 48-year-old woman disclosed her decision to disconnect from social media as a means of coping with her problems. After leaving her followers wondering what she was hinting at and if she was okay, the actor explained that the cryptic message was a marketing tactic for her new online television show, The Trial.

The Trial, a courtroom drama available on Disney+ Hotstar, depicts this riveting trial of life as Noyonika deals with the obstacles life throws her way. Sheeba Chaddha, Jisshu Sengupta, Alyy Khan, Kubbra Sait, and Gaurav Pandey all play pivotal roles in the show, which was created around Padma Shri winner Kajol's portrayal of Noyonika Sengupta. The Trial, a series by Banijay Asia and directed by Suparn S. Varma, will premiere on Disney+ Hotstar on July 14, 2023.
