Bollywood actress Ameesha Patel hit headlines in November 2024 when she dropped a photo with businessman Nirvaan Birla (son of Yash Birla) on Instagram. Her picture with Nirvaan sparked their relationship rumors. The duo was in Dubai when they got clicked together. A few months down the line, Nirvaan reacted to speculations about his equation with Ameesha. The businessman set the record straight with his statement.
Is Ameesha Patel dating Nirvaan Birla?
In an interview with The Free Press Journal, Nirvaan Birla dismissed relationship rumors with Ameesha Patel. He opened up about the bond he shares with the Bollywood actress.
Nirvaan set the record straight by saying, "Ameesha and I are not dating. She is a family friend and known to my father since their school days. We were both in Dubai as I was shooting for my music album which she features in." That said, Ameesha's picture with Nirvaan is still there on her official IG account.
While sharing a photo with the businessman, Patel wrote, "DUBAI —- lovely evening with my darling nirvaanbirla (sic)." For those unaware, Ameesha was earlier reportedly in a relationship with filmmaker Vikram Bhatt and a London-based businessman Kanav Puri.
On Ameesha Patel's work front
Work-wise, Ameesha is currently enjoying a positive reception to her debut film Kaho Na... Pyaar Hai's re-release in theatres. The film had a theatrical re-release after 25 years. Patel featured in the film with Hrithik Roshan. The actress recently confirmed that she is a part of Netflix's documentary series, The Roshans.
Speaking with News18, Ameesha shared, "I’m absolutely looking forward to watching The Roshans. In my own little way, I’m a little part of it too. How can I not be? I’m a part of Hrithik’s journey. It’s a great legacy they have. It traces the journey of all three generations. I hope it does really well." The actress was last seen in a film called Tauba Tera Jalwa.
