Kadak Singh release date — Here's when and where you can watch Pankaj Tripathi's film on OTT

The last month of 2023 is packed with great content on OTT platforms. Among the much-awaited web films of the year is Kadak Singh. The trailer of this movie was unveiled at the International Film Festival of India (IFFI) in Goa. The glimpse of Kadak Singh was well appreciated by the people at the festival. Interestingly, it also garnered a positive response on social media.

While Kadak Singh is directed by Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury, the film has been produced by Mahesh Ramanathan, Viraf Sarkari, Andre Timmins, and Sabbas Joseph. It will premiere on ZEE5 on December 8, 2023.

What is Kadak Singh all about?

Kadak Singh revolves around the life of AK Srivastav, who is an officer Department of Financial Crimes. The basic premise of the film is how Srivastav, after being diagnosed with retrograde amnesia, solves a Chit Fund scam.

Besides Pankaj Tripathi, the star cast of this film includes Sanjana Sanghi, Paresh Pahuja, Parvathy Thiruvothu, Jaya Ahsan, and others. The story of Kadak Singh is written by Ritesh Shah, Aniruddha, and Viraf.

Response to Kadak Singh at IFFI

Earlier, when Kadak Singh premiered at IFFI, Pankaj Tripathi said the audience loved the film and he was happy with the response. The actor also mentioned that people complimented him for his character by saying that every department should have a person like AK Srivastav.

In an official statement, Pankaj Tripathi said working on the story and screenplay of Kadak Singh was difficult. In his opinion, making this movie was difficult in general. Since it is unique, Tripathi said the film required a lot of work and crafting. With the release just around the corner, the actor said he is hoping that Kadak Singh works its way out and does wonders.

Sharing his thoughts on OTT platforms and the content, Pankaj admitted that this medium has allowed people to watch a lot of films. He also believes that people do consume and choose digital content now. "I am not an expert regarding cinema nor OTT, but I know that I am good at acting," he added.
