Mollywood is about to witness a strong narrative on relationships again, from the director of the hit Parvathy starrer Uyare - Manu Ashokan. The movie titled Kaanekkaane got its teaser released today, which gives a glimpse of the emotions of various characters.

The film, which is reportedly a fictional tale of relationships, will have a stellar cast. It will feature Tovino Thomas, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Prem Prakash, Shruti Ramachandran and Rony David Raj. 

As Manu Ashokan’s debut film Uyare turned out to be a great success, both in terms of its theme and performances of its cast, fans are expecting another intriguing tale on the dynamics of relationships from Kaanekkaane. Suggesting the same, the teaser was dropped on the social pages of SonyLIV, with the caption ‘When relationships aren’t what they seem’. The later part of the caption also revealed that the movie will be streamed on SonyLIV from September 17. 

The first look of the movie was launched back in January, coinciding with Tovino’s birthday, by actor Indrajith Sukumaran. Bobby-Sanjay, the famous writing duo has penned the movie, which throws another element of curiosity to the fans. 

Under the banner of Dreamcatcher, the movie is backed by T R Shamsudeen, while Alby Antony is the cinematographer. Ranjin Raj, who is famous for his music in the movie Joseph, has been roped in as the music composer while Dileep Nath will head the art department. 

It is also interesting to note that the movie reunites Aishwarya Lekshmi and Tovino, after Mayanadi, the movie which proved the outstanding chemistry of the duo. Though the details of their characters are yet unknown, audiences expect more surprises from the team.
