After Ardh, Rajpal Yadav collaborated with director Palaash Muchhal for his new film, Kaam Chalu Hai. The makers of the movie, which stars Rajpal, Gia Mank and Kurangi Nagraj, have released a poster on social media. Along with it, the official release date of the film was also announced. Written and directed by Palaash, the movie is all set to premiere on ZEE5. It will start streaming on the OTT platform this summer.

Kaam Chalu Hai is a true story based on the life of Manoj Patil, who tries to fulfil his daughter Gydiya's dream of becoming a cricketer. His daughter gets selected for a cricket tournament. However, Manoj's life takes a tragic turn when he loses his daughter in an accident due to the administration's fault. How Manoj deals with the loss of his daughter and turns the mourning into a mission to protect another daughter from dying the same death makes this an inspiring watch.

In an official statement, Rajpal Yadav said that he did Kaam Chalu Hai as he had a wonderful time collaborating with Palaah Muchhal on Ardh, which was also released on ZEE5. Talking about their new film, the actor added, "Kaam Chalu Hai is a deeply moving, inspiring and heartwarming story about a parent who loses his child due to a tragic accident. And, since it is inspired by true incidents, the audience will relate to it on a deeper level."
Yadav stated that he is looking forward to the audience's response to movie and hopes that it ends up holding a special place in their hearts. For those who are unaware, the film has been selected to be among the films that will be promoted by IMPPA (Indian Motion Picture Producers' Association) at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival 2024.
