Kaalathukkum Nee Venum singer Rakshita Suresh thanks everyone for thr great reception to the song

The single Kaalathukkum Nee Venum from Silambarasan TR's upcoming film Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu was released recently. The melodious number has music by AR Rahman, lyrics by Thamarai and is sung by the film's lead actor Silambarasan TR himself and Rakshita Suresh.

The song has now clocked more than 1 crore views and Rakshita Suresh took to her social media page to thank everyone. Taking to his social media handle, while releasing the single, Simbu had said that the song was from his soul. He had written, "A Song from my Soul ! Vendhu Thaninthadhu Kaadu, is directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon and has Silambarasan TR and Siddhi Idnani playing the leads. The supporting cast includes Radikaa Sarathkumar, Siddique, Neeraj Madhav, Aangelina Abraham to name a few. Cinematography is by Siddhartha Nuni and editing is by Anthony. The post-production work of the action drama is on in full swing. Hollywood stunt choregrapher Lee Whittaker has been roped in to can the actions sequences in the film. The shoot was stalled in between due to the raging pandemic and was finally wrapped in April. A poster released by the filmmakers featured an injured Silambarasan in the backdrop of a forest fire akin to the title of the film. The film is bankrolled by Ishari Ganesh and Ashwin Kumar under the production banner of Vels Film International.

Silambarasan and Gautham Menon are teaming up for the fourth time after their Vinnaithaandi Varuvaaya, Achcham Yenbadhu Madamaiyada, and a brief collaboration in the sequel to VTV, Karthik Dial Seytha Enn.
