Kaala Paani is the upcoming survival thriller drama on Netflix starring Ashutosh Gowariker, Mona Singh and Amey Wagh in pivotal roles. After an intriguing official trailer, the makers have dropped a new promo video featuring Singh as a Chief Medical Officer trying to learn the simplest explanation for the cure to a bizarre illness.

The latest promo begins by introducing Singh as Dr Soudamini Singh, who is the Chief Medical Officer at a major hospital on the island of Andaman and Nicobar. A new intern joins her team and tries to become a valuable asset to the doctor's research. Moving on, Singh appears to keep educating and taking practical classes with the junior doctors in the hospital. The video further takes the audience into the dark world of the island sees people fighting from a bizarre illness. On the other hand, Singh can be seen trying to find the simplest explanation to get the cure for an unknown disease.

Makers dropped the latest video with a quirky as well as interesting caption on Netflix's YouTube channel that reads, "Hidden in plain sight might be the answers that can lead them out of Kaala Paani (sic)."

All About Kaala Paani

The Sameer Saxena and Amit Golani directorial is written by Biswapati Sarkar, Amit Golani, Sandeep Saket, and Nimisha Misra, while it is bankrolled under Posham Pa Pictures. Kaala Paani, which also has Sukant Goel, Vikas Kumar, Arushi Sharma, Radhika Mehrotra, Chinmay Mandlekar, and Poornima Indrajith in key roles, is slated to premiere on October 18 on Netflix.
