Kaala Paani was released on Netflix earlier this month. Created by Sameer Saxena, the web show opened to great reviews from both critics and audiences alike. Actor Vikas Kumar played a pivotal role in the series. In an exclusive chat with OTTplay, the actor spoke about a scene that was challenging for him to pull off.
Discussing the same in detail, Vikas mentioned his shoulder labrum tore while shooting for the scene in a forest for Kaala Paani.

During a conversation with us, Vikas opened up about the scene where he fell into the pit (on the ground) and struggled to come out of it. It was during the shoot of this sequence that the actor's shoulder labrum tore.

"In fact, the first failed attempt that I made, I tore a labrum in my shoulder and it has still not been corrected. It stays for life like that. I have to manage it as told by my doctor. He said there is surgery but (he was) not sure whether the surgery would fully correct it. But, I had great fun for those two days. Pura body cheel gaya tha by just crawling over there," revealed Vikas.

The actor further mentioned how he managed to pull off the two days of the shoot for that particular scene in Kaala Paani.
"It is a passion that drives us to choose a profession like this. As an actor, you are hungry for moments and scenes like this. I was looking forward to it. Of course, it was a bit of a scare that it was for two days and it was just me. But it is scary, as an actor, (you feel) will I be able to pull it off? I just jumped into it (metaphorically) and I gave it my all. I thoroughly enjoyed those 2 days. I gave it everything, in terms of being physically and emotionally there," said Kumar.
