What's Sharanya Shetty got to do in Krishnam Pranaya Sakhi

Krishnam Pranaya Sakhi has Ganesh play Krishna, a biz honcho, who is in love with Pranaya (Malavika Nair). Sharanya is Jhanvi, the daughter of the head of a rival firm, who has her sight set firmly on Krishna and plots to make him hers. After Krishna spurns her advances, she engineers an attack on him and Pranaya, as a result of which, he loses his short-term memory, including all traces of his relationship with Pranaya.

This is the opportunity that Jhanvi was waiting for, as she tries to cozy up to Krishna yet again. Whether or not she succeeds or if Krishna and Pranaya find their way back to each other is what the Srinivasa Raju directorial is all about.

Krishnam Pranaya Sakhi, which released in theatres on August 15, had a successful theatrical run, with industry trackers reporting that the film grossed a tad under Rs 20 crore, making it Ganesh’s second highest grosser. Prior to the film’s release, Srinivasa Raju had refused to reveal a trailer, choosing, instead, to bank on the music by Arjun Janya. The 7-8 numbers from Krishnam Pranaya Sakhi are each one better than the other, with Dwapara being the runaway hit.
