Justice for RG Kar: Ushasie Chakraborty upholds their demand for justice in Bhaiphota

Actress Ushasie Chakraborty has taken an active part in the protest against the heinous crime at RG Kar Medical College and Hospital that took place in August. On the day of Bhai Phota, too, she made her stand clear. Her special attire on this day reflected the demands of the protest. The back of the blouse she wore showed the message: We want justice, and the border of the saree showed the message: Spine is not for sale. The actress posted the photo on social media and wrote, "Best wishes to the brothers. Let the sisters get justice."  

On the other hand, Kinjal Nanda has also announced that as he failed as a brother of the victim of RG Kar, he won’t accept Bhaiphota till justice is served. He took to his social media handle and said that he would not take phota until Tilottama gets justice.  

Kinjal wrote on Facebook on Sunday, "I could not protect her as a brother, I could not save her. I will not celebrate Bhai Phota or Rakhi till justice is served." This post triggered discussions. A netizen wrote, "I thought a mass Bhai Phota would take place, just like a mass convention. Anyway, be safe." Another one wrote, "I would advise you to wear more rakhis and take more photos. Make a brigade with the sisters. They can make your fight successful. You need a joint stand to fight. That is the ultimate power."
