Shah Rukh Khan has done it again. He has proven his commitment to work and why he’s one of the biggest superstars of the country. The 57-year-old (which he doesn’t look anyway) managed to not only memorize an eight-page-monologue for his latest film, Jawan, but even give the shot in a single take. The monologue is the one from the train scene, where his character Azad took the passengers on the train hostage.

SRK’s Jawan co-star reveals the same

During her interview with Bollywood Hungama, Jawan actress Sanjeeta Bhattacharya spilled the beans. She was among one of the women from SRK’s squad. The actress revealed that SRK managed to give the eight-page-monologue in his first take. The actor did go for a second take but that was just as a backup. “That was the first time I got to see Shah Rukh sir rattle off an 8-page monologue. Just like water. Hardly any retakes. There was one take and the other one would just be for variation,” Sanjeeta shared.

Known for his kind gestures

Shah Rukh Khan is recognized for his kind gestures. From greeting even the spotboy by his name to taking care of everybody on his movie sets, there are ample stories to validate why SRK deserve the title King Khan and superstar. This is also not the first time where SRK impressed everyone with his memory. There are various projects which he associates with as a producer too and even for those, the actor knows exactly what the project’s narration and character names are. It is through these small gestures that the actor has won many hearts and rules them even today.

The other five

Apart from Sanjeeta, Jawan saw five women in SRK’s squad. They were played by Priyamani, Sanya Malhotra, Girija Oak and newcomers Lehar Khan and Aaliyah Qureishi, apart from Sanjeeta. The metro scene is what caught people’s attention back when the teaser of the film was unveiled.

Jawan marked Nayanthara and director Atlee’s debut in Bollywood. The movie, also starring Vijay Sethupathi in a pivotal role and Deepika Padukone in a special appearance, released in theatres on September 7 and is already giving tough competition to the highest grossing movies of the year.
