Just in: Kartik Aaryan turns producer with Shehzada

Everyone was blown away by Kartik Aaryan's incredible performance in the hit movies Freddy and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 last year in 2022. While the actor was ruling the audience's hearts like a madman, he recently gave them the first look at his new movie, Shehzada, which quickly caught everyone's interest. While the audience is genuinely delighted to see the star in a brand-new, massive action avatar in the movie, here is still another bit of good news for his fans: he is now a producer for Shehzada. You read that right, Kartik is one of the official producers of Shehzada.

A source close to Kartik reveals, “It wasn’t planned or anything. It is the early days for Kartik to turn producer. He has just started his career as an actor. But then, the unexpected happened. Shehzada encountered a financial crisis and if someone did not step in at that moment, the project would have been stalled.” Kartik made a good decision to intervene to save the project after observing these events develop. Kartik made the offer to forgo his remuneration. The other producers then made the offer to join him as a producer, according to the source.

Kartik has joined the other producers Bhushan Kumar, Allu Arvind, and Aman Gill in the movie as a producer. The production companies include Allu Entertainment, Haarika & Hassine Creations, and T-Series Films. The film, Shehzada which is being directed by Rohit Dhawan also stars Kriti Sanon and is a remake of the 2020 Telugu film Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo, the film is all set for release on February 10, 2023.

The filmmakers said, “It’s been quite a joyride making this film with Kartik as an actor, but now it’s become even more exciting having Kartik on board as one of the producers of the film.”

On the work front, Kartik will also be seen in Aashiqui 3, Kabir Khan's untitled next, and Satyaprem Ki Katha, while the first look of his upcoming Shehzada has already pleased the public.
