Juhi Chawla on star kids Varun Dhawan and Suhana Khan: They don't take things carelessly

Juhi Chawla has been a veteran of the film business for almost 40 years now and made her OTT debut with the mystery drama Hush Hush on Prime Video. In an interview, Juhi recently discussed the children's becoming movie stars as well as the fact that they put in a lot of effort just like everyone else.

In an interview with Pinkvilla, Juhi discussed not just Kiara Advani, the daughter of a childhood friend, but also Shah Rukh Khan's daughter Suhana Khan, as well as director David Dhawan's son Varun Dhawan.

Juhi added, "Suhana and all have also grown up in front of us. It’s amazing to see them. Not just Suhana, there are so many of them. When I first shot with David ji in Swarg (1990), they (David’s son actor Varun and director Rohit Dhawan) were kids. Now they have all become movie stars, so it’s just wonderful to see how talented they are."

The actor went on to say that she appreciated the fact that these famous youngsters didn't take their position lightly. She continued, "All of them really work hard. None of them takes it lightly that 'I am a star kid, so I’ll just arrive on sets and things will happen'. A lot of them really work hard. It’s beautiful. But I can never say who is my favourite. All these kids I have seen growing up."

Meanwhile, in 2012, Varun appeared in Karan Johar's Student of the Year for the first time. Since then, he has been in several more movies, including October and Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania. The actor's most recent film, JugJugg Jeeyo, was a box office success. Kiara Advani, Anil Kapoor, and Neetu Singh are also featured in the movie.

Whereas Suhana will be making her acting debut in Zoya Akhtar's The Archies, which also includes Khushi Kapoor, the younger daughter of Boney and Sridevi, as well as Agastya Nanda, the grandson of Amitabh Bachchan, making his film debut.

Juhi can currently be seen in the Prime Video series Hush Hush. Soha Ali Khan, Shahana Goswami, Kritika Kamra, and Ayesha Jhulka are additional cast members in the Tanuja Chandra’s series. On September 22, streaming started.
